Whole Word Verses Phonics: Education In Crises

College professors complain that children who are able to pass  tests,  inter college unable to do basic math or read at grade level.  Our educational system which was once the best in the world,  is now in a crises.

1.  There is scientific research that has been around for many years, but is being ignored.

2.  Unfortunately there is a lot of finger pointing which only divides those who care about the children the most, and does nothing to help the children. Yet the solutions are in plain sight, and clearly presented by those closest to the kids.
